Alexis Lafreniere is already one of the all-time NHL greats, at least digitally speaking. EA Sports simulated the career of the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NHL Draft using the recently released "NHL 21," and the results are pretty eye-popping.

The video game team ran a simulation that projected Lafreniere to score 452 goals and 1,663 points in 1,582 NHL video games. That total would put him ninth on the League's career points list, just ahead of Joe Sakic (1,641) and behind Mario Lemieux (1,723). In addition to the impressive career amounts and Glass wins, Lafrieniere earned a Calder Trophy, a Hart Trophy and a Ted Lindsay Award over the sportswear letter and number course of his gaming career.
