Direct printing

Clothing direct printing is a iron on transfers printing directly on white fabrics or on pre-dyed fabrics. The latter is called overprint. Of course, the print is much darker than the background. A large number of common printing methods are direct printing.

If the background color of the fabric is white or mostly white, and the print pattern looks lighter from the back than the front, then we can judge it as a direct print (note: it is impossible to judge thin and light fabrics by this method due to the strong penetration of the printing paste).

If the background color of the fabric is the same on both sides (because it is a piece dyeing), and the iron on transfers printing pattern is much darker than the background color, then this is the overlay fabric.
